【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesminimumrecommendationsfortheinstallationofthickpouredlightweightcellularconcretefloorunderlaymentssuitabletoreceiveresilientfloorcoverings.Thispracticeestablishestheproperpreparation,installationandqualitycontrolforthickpouredlightweightcellularconcretefloorunderlayments.Actualrequirementsforthickpouredlightweightcellularconcreteunderlaymentsaregenerallyincludedaspartofprojectplansorspecificationsandmayvaryfromtherecommendationssetforthinthispractice.Projectplansorspecifications,orboth,shallsupersedetherecommendationssetforthinthispractice.1.1Thispracticecoverstheinstallationandpreparationofthethickpouredlightweightcellularconcreteunderlaymentsoverwoodstructuralpanelsubfloorsincommercialstructuresoroverconcretefloorsincommercialstructuresandthepreparationofthethickpouredlightweightcellularconcreteunderlaymentsurfacepriortotheinstallationofresilientflooringincommercialbuildings.1.2Thispracticepointsoutthefactorsthatarerequiredtobecontrolledwhileinstallingthickpouredlightweightcellularconcreteunderlaymentasabaseforresilientflooring.1.3Thispracticedoesnotcoverthestructuraladequacyofthewoodstructuralpanelsubfloororconcretesubfloor.Thestructuralintegrityofassembliesisgovernedbylocalbuildingcodes.1.4Thispracticedoesnotsupercedethethickpouredlightweightcellularconcreteunderlaymentmanufacturers'',adhesivemanufacturers''orresilientflooringmanufacturers''writteninstructions.Consulttheindividualmanufacturerforspecificrecommendations.1.5Thickpouredlightweightcellularconcreteunderlaymentsarenotsuitableforuseonconcreteslabsongroundduetopotentialmoistureproblemsarisingfrommoistureintrusion,unlessanadequatevaporretarderorvaporbarrierispresentdirectlybeneaththeconcretesubfloor.1.6Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesstatedinparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIUnits,whichareprovidedforinformationonly.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
