【摘要】:Thispracticedescribesthemaximumtransit-rateratiosanddepthsthatcanbeusedforselectedisokineticsuspended-sedimentsampler/nozzle/containerconfigurationsinordertoinsureisokineticsampling.Thispracticeisdesignedtobeusedbyfieldpersonnelcollectingwhole-watersamplesfromopenchannelflow.1.1Thispracticecoversthemaximumtransit-rateratiosanddepthsforselectedsuspended-sedimentsampler-nozzle-containerconfigurations.1.2Thispracticeexplainsthereasonsforlimitingthetransit-rateratioanddepthsthatsuspended-sedimentsamplerscanbecorrectlyused.1.3Thispracticegivemaximumtransit-rateratiosanddepthsforselectedisokineticsuspended-sedimentsampler/nozzle/containersizeforsamplersdevelopedbytheFederalInteragencySedimentationProject.1.4Throughoutthispractice,asamplersloweringrateisassumedtobeequaltoitsraisingrate.1.5Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
