【摘要】:Thisspecificationrecognizesthattheeffectivenessofasheetradiantbarrierisdependentonproperinstallation.PracticeC1158addressesuseandinstallationofradiantbarriers.Thisspecificationidentifiesthematerialpropertiesthatareimportantforsheetradiantbarrierproducts.Whenappropriate,valuesforthepropertieshavebeenstated.Theusershouldconsultthemanufactureraboutspecificmaterialpropertiesneededforaparticularapplication.Radiantbarriersshallbefreeofdustorothercontaminantstoremaineffective.1.1Thisspecificationcoversthegeneralphysicalpropertyrequirementsofradiantbarriermaterialsforuseinbuildingconstruction.Thescopeisspecificallylimitedtorequirementsforradiantbarriersheetmaterialsthatconsistofatleastonesurfacehavingafar-infraredemittanceof0.1orless,suchasmetallicfoilsormetallicdepositsmountedorunmountedonsubstrates.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethods(Section10)describedinthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
