【摘要】:Thisdocument,partofEN13130,specifiesananalyticalprocedureforthedeterminationofmaleicacidinthefourconventionalfoodsimulants,water,3%w/vaqueousaceticacid,15%v/vaqueousethanolandoliveoilorapprovedsubstitute.Thelevelofmaleicaciddeterminedisexpressedasmilligramsofmaleicacidperkilogramoffoodorfoodsimulant.Themethodisappropriateforthequantitativedeterminationofmaleicacidinapproximateanalyteconcentrationrangeof5mg/kgto60mg/kgintheabovementionedfoodsimulants.Thismethodisalsosuitableforthedeterminationofmaleicanhydrideinthefourfoodsimulantsastheanhydrideishydrolyzedrapidlyandcompletelytomaleicacidduringsamplepreparation.Thelevelofmaleicanhydrideisthenexpressedasmilligramsofmaleicacidperkilogramoffoodsimulant.NOTEThemethodshouldalsobeapplicabletootheraqueousfoodsimulantsaswellastotheotherfattyfoodsimulants,e.g.sunfloweroil,cornoiloramixtureofsynthetictriglycerides.Thesuitabilityofthefatsimulantshouldbeassessedpriortosettingupmigrationtests-itmaybefoundnecessarytousesunfloweroilorHB307ifunacceptableinterferencesarefoundwitholiveoil.
