【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstherequirementsforbare,solidconductor,tungstenandrheniumalloythermoelementshavingdiametersof0.127mm(0.005in.)to0.508mm(0.020in.)suppliedinmatchedpairs.Thesethermoelementsshallbesuitableforuseeitherinbead-insulated,bare-wirethermocouples,orincompactedmetal-sheathed,ceramicinsulatedthermocouplematerialorassemblies.1.2Thisspecificationcoversthethermocouplecombinationsoftungsten-3%rheniumversustungsten-25%rhenium(W3Re/W25Re)andtungsten-5%rheniumversustungsten-26%rhenium(W5Re/W26Re;TypeC).Allinformationappliestobothcombinationsunlessotherwisenoted.1.3Itisrecognizedthatthealloysdescribedarerefractoryandarenotsuitableforuseathightemperaturesinoxidizingatmospheres.Alltestsandprocessesdescribedhereinmustbeperformedunderconditionsthatarenon-reactivetotungsten-rheniumalloys.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
