【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesmethodsforthedeterminationoftheparticledensityandwaterabsorptionofaggregatesThefirstfivemethodsareapplicabletonormalaggregateswithasixthmethodforlightweightaggregates.Theprincipalmethodsspecifiedare:a)awirebasketmethodforaggregatespassinga63mmsievebutretainedona31.5mmsieve;h)pyknometermethodsforaggregatespassinga31,5mmsievebutretainedona0062,mmsieve.NOTEIThewirebasketmethodmaybeusedasanalternativetothepyknometermethodforaggregatesbetween4mmand31,5mm.Incaseofdispute,thepyknometermethoddescribedinclause8shouldbeusedasthereferencemethod.NOTE2Thewirebasketmethodcarlalsobeusedforsingleaggregateparticlesretainedona63mmsieve,iiAmethodfor'thedeterminationofpre-driedparticledensityofdenseaggregatesisspecifiedinannexA.NOTE3AstheabsorptionofdenseaggregatesisIow,pre-driedparticledensitycanbedetermineddirectlyinwater.Thismethodisdifferenttothedeterminationofparticledensityonanovendriedbasis.Amodifiedversionofthewire-basketmethodsuitablefordeterminingtheparticledensityandwaterabsorptionofcoarseaggregatessaturatedtoconstantmassisspecifiedinannexB.Forlightweightaggregates,amodifiedversionofthepyknometertestspecifiedinannexAisspecifiedinannexC.
